Senior-Adult Ministry
F O C U S – 55+ members at Poplar Grove enjoy participating in missions activities such as Appalachian Outreach. They also enjoy getting together at a local restaurant for a good fellowship meal and taking trips to Gaither Homecoming concerts. We provide opportunities for senior adults to participate in regional worship conferences in Pigeon Forge, TN or Ridgecrest, NC. The “premier social event” of the year here for senior adults is the annual “Senior Sweethearts Banquet,” a joint effort of the youth and senior-adult ministries.
